Really not loving the boys' school right now.
Let me rant for a few moments.
Their school has a special currency called Star Bucks (not to be confused with the coffee franchise!), and even though I've paid for all their parties for the year ahead of time... if any one of the kids didn't have $50 worth of these bucks on their person, they wouldn't be allowed to go to the party that their parents had already pre-paid for.
Patrick was so upset this morning when I asked him about the Winter Party they're having today, because he "didn't have enough money for it." Luckily, he had a $20 bill in his desk at home that I was able to find for him... but what if I hadn't?
What the hell?
Give me my real bucks back, then, Plano ISD!
I get that they need to earn things, but if this isn't relying on parent donations (like plates, food, etc.), but rather payments me and other parents have made... you can't really justify excluding any of the children.
In other news, I have to head to the lady doctor soon... hopefully today, if I can get an appointment. (They're only open 8:00 am - 12:30 pm on Fridays.) I'm 99.9% sure I have a UTI, which is crazy because I drink an ungodly amount of water.
We'll see how much the visit and possible prescription is now that I have my new health insurance through my job.
I still get UTI's too! And I drink water like it is my job... I hope they can get you in and get ya all fixed up! I hate those! :)
